On Our Way

Justin and I just officially purchased our plane tickets. This is quickly starting to feel real for us. We reached the 84% mark and we bit the bullet and bought the tickets. We will be leaving the United States on September 10th and arriving in Quito, Ecuador on September 11th!!!!!!!

It has been a crazy journey to get to this point, but we know the Lord has a lot more in store for us in South America. We really want to thank everyone who has contributed to get us this far, whether that be financial support, prayers or something else. It really means a lot to us that we are supported by so many great people. So a special thank you to both my parents and Justin’s for putting up with us raiding their pantries and hogging their washing machines for the past two months. Thank you to all the close family and friends who spent time with us both in Idaho and here in California. Thank you to the members of College Church and Pastor Daryl who listened to our first public speaking endeavor and were ever so gracious. Thank you most recently to my home church in Sutter Creek, California for being amazingly supportive and for your generous donations to help us serve in Ecuador. Also, a special thanks to Pastor Mark for the extra encouragement when it came to fundraising. There is a lot of people Justin and I are truly indebted to these past few months. So whether you let us crash at your house along the long trip (Houston-Olethe, Kansas-Loveland, Colorado-Nampa, Idaho-Jackson, California), let us tell you about what God has put on our hearts over a meal or just stopped to speak to us at church to let us know you would be praying for us, it means a lot.

So we have a few weeks left in the States and still some money to raise, but we have learned God is gracious. We are confident that He will provide the funds needed before we leave. So if you want to catch up with us sometime before we leave the country let us know, because we will be in Ecuador soon!
